Hangtime Sports Inc. will be holding tryouts for the girl\’s high school fall basketball club teams in the coming weeks. The trials will take place Sunday, September 7 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at HangtimeSports, and final team members will be scheduled to compete in tournaments through November 2. Read→
Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Heart of Michigan is excited to bring back its 2nd Annual Golf Ball Drop. On August 28th, 2008, thousands of golf balls will be dropped from a hot air balloon on to the grounds at the Comfort Inn Suites and Conference Center in Mt. Pleasant, MI with all proceeds directly benefiting the children of Midland and Isabella Counties. A grand prize of $10,000 will be given to one lucky contestant. Read→

Midland High senior Andrew Maxwell continued to turn heads in the first day of the Elite 11 quarterback camp at Soka University in Aliso Viejo, California. Maxwell has been rated as the 11th best pro-style quarterback prospect in the country and is committed to play at Michigan State. Read→
