Chemics garner seven First Team Saginaw Valley picks

Offensive stars Andrew Maxwell, Charlie Leffingwell, and Drew Moulton led Midland\'s eight all-league selections, while Michael Albrecht picked up First Team Defense and League MVP honors. Three Chargers were awarded with offensive lineman Thomas Gable receiving First Team honors. Read→

Meridian employed a suffocating defense Friday, scoring two defensive touchdowns to lead the Mustangs to a 34-7 win over Tawas in the opening round of the Division 5 football playoffs. Jason Hockemeyer and Dakota Brodsky tied for the team lead with eight tackles apiece. Offensively, Matt Bowen finished with 147 yards on 17 carries to lead the Mustangs. Read→
