Hangtime 14 Navy, went 6-1 in pool and seeding play, before finishing 3rd place in Division 2A, while Hangtime 14 Royal, coached by Bob Sells, took a 1-3 pool record into play on Sunday and finished with a 2-1 record, to place 8th in Division 1. The 18 Royal team, playing short six players, didn’t see the winning side of play for the weekend, but played some very tough competition as did the others, falling 0-5 in pool play and were eliminated in the Division 1 tournament in the first round.

Three Hangtime Volleyball Club teams competeted for titles at University of Michigan, Dearborn in the 12U State Tournament.

The Hangtime 10U team, coached by Lynn Syring, competed in the 12U Bronze Division 3 and went 0-3 in pool play.

”Despite the struggles of a lot of our teams, every coach reported an aggressive and strong effort from their respective teams”, stated Club Director Bob Sells. “After a weekend like this, we (coaches) always come out feeling a little let down, but pumped up for our next season and the things we want to do to help our athletes compete at a higher level from top to bottom.”
