Nicco Lamb scored four goals Monday and Midland High improved to 11-2-1 on the season as the varsity Chemics defeated visiting Bay City Central 6-0 at Midland Community Stadium.

Lamb scored three first half goals and added another in the second, while Josh Cannon and Alex Bork also scored goals.

Chess Mizell had four saves for Midland in net.

The Chemics will be in action again Saturday when they host Saginaw Heritage. If the Chemics defeat the Hawks, they will secure an outright Saginaw Valley League championship.
